About Us

Ncedo is a non- profit organization that works with teenagers.We discuss issues and challenges that are being faced by teenagers of today and how to prevent them.The children are our future, it is our responsibility to care for them and meet their needs. We believe that if each community prioritizes children, good future generations and leaders will emerge. We intend to encourage and to remind teenagers that they have a vital role in shaping the future. We believe in an area of development and productivity to change lives of the coming generations. Our goal is to lead by example and create an environment where teenagers are protected.  Some of the topics we discuss. We teach teenagers about bullying and what they should do if they see it, as well as what they can do if they become the victim. We talk about sexual activity because with the rise in teenage pregnancy, we believe it is best to teach them about it at a young age to prevent them from making mistakes. Teenagers have academic challenges and high dropout rate in South Africa, we encourage teenagers to be responsible for their future and stay focused. We deal with obesity, obese children are at higher risk of acquiring lifelong health problems such as heart disease and diabetes, as well as struggling with body image, body shaming and developing eating disorders. We also educate them on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse, as well as the consequences of addiction and how to avoid them. We have realized that teenagers get bored very quickly. They like having fun and enjoy themselves in everything they do. To avoid distractions and boredom , we have created activities for them that they can participate in. For entertainment we provide the following activities. Sports(soccer and netball). Debate classes. Drama, singing and dance classes. Conclusion. Let us all play part in our communities to build better future generations.A generation with no violence, women abuse, drug addicts and dropouts.
