Charity starts at home.
Ubuntu is defined as doing something for another person, such as cooking for them. Cooking for others strengthens our bonds with our family and friends.
On Saturday, February 26th, 2022. We prepared meals for our children to demonstrate love, trust, community, meaning, purpose, and belonging. It feels our hearts with joy to be able to give back and know that no child goes hungry. We believe that children come from variety of homes, each with its own set of circumstances, some have bread at home, while others do not.
We made them pap and gravy with lots of love and some juice on the side. They we’re overjoyed and couldn’t get enough of the great food, so they asked for more. We had extra food for refills, which was fortunate for them. Everyone received sweets at the conclusion of the events to brighten their day as they returned home.
Our children are very important to us, and we will do everything we can to meet their needs and instill in them the spirit of Ubuntu.
