CELEBRATING HERITAGE DAY WITH NCEDO NPO

CELEBRATING CULTURE IN STYLE.

On 24, September, 2022, Saturday. NCEDO NPO will be celebrating Heritage Day, the heritage day will take place at Kwaguqa extension 14 at the park from 12:00 till 14:00. NCEDO children will be wearing their traditional attires to express their different cultures. It will be an educational day at the same time a fun day, children will show off their cultures and how proud they are to be South Africans. Children will perform their cultures by singing with their own language, dance their own cultures and express themselves through speech in their own home language.

NCEDO NPO wishes to teach these children the value of cultural awareness. They should be aware of their origins and not ashamed of their traditions. Culture is very important to us as South Africans because it distinguishes us, teaches us respect, and our ancestors play an important role in our lives. Traditional meal will be prepared for our children as we perform the event to remind them of how traditional food tastes. People are welcome to attend dressed in their own traditions, as this will help to connect us and give us a sense of belonging.
